03 - Cloud PC

1. Configure Windows 365 Settings

  1. Within Intune (intune.microsoft.us) go to Devices > (device onboarding dropdown) > Windows 365

  2. Go to User Settings tab up the top

  3. Create a User Settings policy called "Cloud PC User Settings - Default"

  4. Leave the settings default (no, no, no, every 12 hours)

  5. Assign to the "Users - Cloud PC Licensing - Static" group

2. Create Provisioning Policy

  1. Go back to the Windows 365 section and go to the Provisioning Policies tab up the top

  2. Create a provisioning profile with the following information:

    • Name: Cloud PC
    • Description: Production Cloud PC provisioning profile
    • Join type: Microsoft Entra Join
    • Network: Microsoft hosted network
    • Geography: US Government
    • Region: Client's closest geographical location (either Virginia for east coast or Arizona for west coast)
    • Tick: Use Microsoft Entra single sign-on
    • Image type: Gallery image
    • Windows 11 Enterprise + Microsoft 365 Apps 24H2
    • Language & Region: English (United States)
    • Cloud PC naming: Apply device name template
    • CPC-%USERNAME:5%-%RAND:5%
    • Assignments: "Users - Cloud PC Licensing - Static" group
  3. Cloud PCs will likely start to provision now for any users within the licensing group - add yourself in there so you can login and test/verify
